Terry Davis – President and CEO:
Terry is a highly skilled aluminum craftsman. He is a master tradesman in the design, layout, cutting, and installation of custom screen enclosures in addition to being a visionary in the industry, creating exquisite architectural enclosures long before the competition. Terry began his career in 1968 as a helper for Tami-jo Enterprises in Orlando, right out of high school.
From there, he was hired by Tropicana Screens and worked as a subcontractor, fabricating and installing screen enclosures throughout Central Florida. Being an entrepreneur, he worked freelance for a variety of companies until he formed his own company, Custom Screens. He and a team of skilled workers responded to the South Florida area following Hurricane Andrew in 1992 and spent two years rebuilding aluminum structures that were devastated in the storm.
Terry gained valuable insight into how to design structures to better withstand hurricane-force winds. Because of his expertise, Custom Screens’ structures can withstand up to 135 miles per hour winds and remain securely in place. Terry is an Army Reserve Veteran.
Cully Minson – Production Manager:
Cully is responsible for the shop preparation of our products from fabrication to installation. He oversees the crews daily, reporting on their progress on each job and the loading of the crew trucks. He ensures that company assets are maximized.
Cully is a master installer and skilled craftsman and is a talented auto mechanic who maintains our fleet of vehicles, rounding out our management team.
David Davis – Vice President:
Dave Davis joined his brother in 1980. Dave mans the sales desk and troubleshoots issues that may arise. His background in banking, finance, and sales is value-added and an integral part of the management team of the company. Dave is an Army Reserve Veteran.
Lani Davis Minson – Chief Operating Officer:
Lani was raised in the screen business, helping her dad on job sites and working in the Custom Screens office as a teen and young woman.
She is the administrative professional of our team and is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the office and finances, permitting every job, communicating with the job superintendents and building contractors and scheduling all jobs and the crews. Lani is a commissioned Florida Notary Public and a mother of five children.
Kyler Brandon
- The grandson of Terry Davis
and son of Lani and Cully Minson:
Kyler is our lead installer, well respected by our clients and his peers. He is our ‘Spiderman’ and can walk the tops of the structures with great ease. Kyler has a great sense of humor too!
